Dream of Floral Fields
3 drops Lavender, 1 drop Chamomile Roman, 1 drop Patchouli
When the weather doesn’t allow for a stroll outside, this blend will satisfy those cravings for floral scents.
Add this blend to your diffuser and envision walking through rolling fields of herbaceous lavender,
earthy patchouli and sweet chamomile.
Lavender is a subtle oil in the blend. Its uses are therapeutic in that it promotes a quiet mind and calm spirit. Blends perfectly with the bright chamomile and strong patchouli.
The chamomile plant has been used medicinally for centuries, and in the Middle Ages was used as a strewing herb to freshen rooms. The oil is used in aromatherapy to calm the mind, relax the body, and soothe emotions.
Patchouli offers a grounding, earthy aroma to this blend. Its sedative and antidepressant properties aid in reaching a deeper meditation. Believed to stimulate the 7th to 1st chakra inclusive.
When I want to fully immerse myself in the great outdoors (figuratively), I like to use this blend alongside a guided walking meditation. I’ve been enjoying a variety of meditation podcasts, many of which I found doing simple online searches. Share with us your favorite guided walking meditation on pinterest!
